Really? Which opinion of an ordinary Russian will get him picked up and thrown into prison, exactly?

Don't ridicule yourself. Are we now starting to tally up the good and the bad of Russia? I could go on all day about the US or UK. No shortage of fuckups on massive proportions.

I bow out at this time. Thanks for the lovely exchange, chaps. I hope you realize there is a beautiful life out there up for grabs, a beautiful nature. We and forefathers worked hard to achieve that. A lot of cultures did not put the same care and effort into fighting for certain freedoms and rights and privileges and hence are subjected to a different way of life. Not our fault. Ukraine has enough on its conscience to deserve what is coming to them. But honestly, I could not care less what happens to the Ukraine. Life will go on.

Don't get sucked into the social media vaccum cleaner. Go out and enjoy life.

  2. The point is that C19 was vastly over exaggerated being a major threat to humans, you want to compare China and Russia, you dig out their total death stats for the last couple of decades and come back and show us. It’s all one giant pile of horseshit.

Now you are trying to change the topic, you said MSM was responsible for the 'lockdowns' when in fact lockdowns were universal including in your favorite countries (Russia and China). In fact the lockdowns were extremely severe there and no independent media exists so how can you blame the media for any of this?

If C19 was vastly exaggerated, they were exaggerated in Russia and China too, Russia was even forcing its citizens to take their shitty vaccine and yet you are pretending like the whole thing was exclusive to the west.

    https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/...rested-putin-documentary-excerpt-ukraine-war/

Update (March 23, 2022): In the three days after the law’s adoption on March 4, Russian authorities opened at least 60 cases on the administrative offense of “discrediting Russian armed forces,” the vast majority against peaceful anti-war protesters. By March 23, at least six criminal cases had been opened for “false information” about Russian armed forces’ actions, at least three of which involved aggravated charges. Reports in the media estimate that at least 150 journalists fled Russia within two weeks of the start of this war on February 24.

Update (March 23, 2022): On March 23, Russia’s parliament adopted amendments effectively expanding the ban on criticizing the armed forces to banning criticism of all Russian government actions abroad.

You can go all day about US or UK but you won't find a similar situation there. Russia is an absolute dictatorship, one man makes the rules and everyone follows it like pussies.

  5. I was referring to your preference of MSM over social media, only a fool believes that either can be trusted, I choose what to believe, and with MSM mostly being a propaganda driven instrument to control the people irrespective of geographical location, I don’t pay much attention to it. What’s China and Russia got to do with what I posted previously? Nothing.

There is no 'MSM' in China or Russia, no media other than state media.

And yet they took C19 seriously, they imposed lockdowns and mandated vaccines.

So how are you blaming C19 on the media? Fact is, there was universal medical and scientific opinions which countries followed, you trying to make this about media is nonsense.

  9. State media is MSM. Stop being so pedantic.

Big pharma applied pressure on WHO to declare C19 an international healthcare emergency, governments mostly didn’t challenge WHO’s narrative and the message of compliance was delivered via MSM. It’s all intertwined, MSM was delivering the narrative 24/7 during the pandemic, they weren’t challenging anything. Btw Russia did not make vaccines a mandatory requirement, that’s nonsense.

This is such lazy nonsense that you don't even understand the timelines here.

There were no vaccines when C19 started, it was more than a year away so why would Big Pharma care about lockdowns? How does Big Pharma benefit with that? The so called narrative of social distance was the prevalent scientific and medical thinking given how the disease spread through close contact.

This is what you get from your social media tour? Bunch of easy pre-packaged conspiracies? Why do you even need social media for this, this is so lame and easy to make up, you can just make it up on the spot.

As for Russia, you are wrong again.

In light of the surge, 18 Russian regions — from Moscow and St. Petersburg to the remote far-eastern region of Sakhalin — made vaccinations mandatory this month for employees in certain sectors, such as government offices, retail, health care, education, restaurants and other service industries.
