The Russian submarine carrier SS-750 was photographed at Nordstream by the Danish military days before the explosion: https://www.politico.eu/article/rus...near-nord-stream-pipelines-days-before-blast/
Yes, it has become pretty clear that Russia is responsible for the bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline. The recently released photographic evidence simply serves to underline this Danish Defence Command Confirms Russian Minisub Equipped SS-750 at Site of Nord Stream Blasts 4 Days Prior With the Russian minisub equipped SS-750 confirmed near the Nord Stream sabotage sites on September 22nd 2022 further evidence points to Russia's involvement. https://oalexanderdk.substack.com/p/danish-defence-command-confirms-russian
Of my 4 rebuild Ukraine stocks, the two European ones, ABB and HDELY are up 30% and 72% respectively. The two US stocks are a little slow for now, albeit both had nice runs earlier this year. HDELY is one of the biggest cement companies over there. That's why I liked it. ABB is just a mammoth... they do everything. Kind of like a cross between the GE of old and Fluor.
https://t.me/ukraine_watch/1823 Despite deliveries of Western weapons, the Ukrainian military complains about the superiority of the Russian army. “I don’t know where the Russians are getting so much artillery,” said a 43-year-old private named Pavel who operates a heavy machine gun atop an American-made MaxxPro armored vehicle. “And there are also tanks, helicopters and jets. The guys can’t get in and out of their positions, the firing is so heavy.” Throughout the text, the NYT journalists talk about the difficult situation of the AFU, not forgetting to talk about the "huge losses of the Russians". They also decided to recall the narrative of "former prisoners with minimal training" in the ranks of the Wagner PMC and the untrained mobilized in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. But the NYT journalists won't show you the real state of affairs. They will not show a video of AFU soldiers complaining about being trained for less than two weeks on the training ground. Where the wounded talk about how they are not treated, but sent back to the firing ranges. They will not show footage of military recruiters arresting Ukrainian men in the street in the middle of the day.
War is deeply unfair and some individuals get shit assignments. There's a massive variety of gear, training, opposition, among individual Ukrainan units, so you can basically find any individual soldier to anecdotally show whatever point you like. Ukraine tends to give the better gear to units which were part of successful missions because they have to prioritize in some way. Again, it's not a fair system to the individual. From a high level view, the reason the Russians have so much artillery is because they have it in storage since the Soviet days. Furthermore, Iran and North Korea are pitching in. Your last paragraph describes exactly the typical Russian soldiers' experience BTW, Ukrainians have access to vastly better medical treatment. Russians are seen by their commanders as disposable articles.
Putin's military "recruiting" basically involves kidnapping 400,000 people off the streets of Russia. The "disappearing" of people is a tactic from the Soviet era. Putin ‘absolutely desperate’ as Russia risks revolt with secret enlistment of troops EXCLUSIVE: The Kremlin is desperately scrambling to avoid a huge public backlash by secretly enrolling new recruits to fight in Ukraine, but these soldiers are unlikely to make an impact on the battlefield, Express.co.uk has been told. https://www.express.co.uk/news/us/1763986/putin-ukraine-losses-plan-pentagon-leak-army-recruits-dxus Vladimir Putin is plotting to secretly sign-up hundreds of thousands of soldiers - but they are unlikely to last more than a week on the battlefield, a former army officer has told Express.co.uk. The Russian President fears his plan to sign up 400,000 new soldiers could spark a huge public revolt, according to a leaked US intelligence document dated February 17. This is why the Kremlin has targeted millions of untrained recruits to secretly enrol in an act of "complete desperation", according to Hamish de Bretton Gordon, a weapons expert and former British Army officer. These young men are far from trained elite fighters, but “bullet catchers” who won’t last more than a week on the battlefield, he said. He told Express.co.uk: “I understand from an excellent source that the Russians have for some time identified four million people across Russia who they think will not be noticed if they disappear. “These are people of low intellect, they are people who are drug addicts, alcoholics, homeless, because they need to feed this meat grinder. It is shocking." “It is not the elite going. They are looking for people who just won’t be missed and it is unbelievably cynical." “We know that the life expectancy of these troops are about seven days. They are literally given a days training, given a rifle, some without ammunition and sent to the front. They are just human flesh, bullet catchers, it is criminal and another thing to add to the indictment of Putin as a war criminal." De Bretton Gordon added that this is Putin’s last chance saloon as he scrambles to keep the illegal invasion of Ukraine dragging on. He said: "This is the only option Putin has got. His nuclear threats have completely failed, and have actually had the opposite effect…The only other thing he can try and do to extend the conflict is throw human flesh into this meat grinder in the vein hope that they can prolong the war. It is complete desperation.”
