There is always another side to the story... does that make Putin invading Ukraine correct? Hitler, Stalin, Caucescu, Sadam, Mussolini... they all had their side to the story they forced on their people Putin's story is Ukraine is led by a neo-nazi and therefore must be liberated... Actions speak louder than propaganda, and Putin invaded Ukraine. Why wouldn't Putin go on Russian controlled TV and give his propoganda on why he invaded Ukraine. What was the opposition media's position on Putin's message? Oh.....
Cheap shot I look forward to reading this post of Putins speech Lets see a refute to the thoughts in the speech....The West needs argue their side if there is any hope to have Putin see our side
It's all he's got. The moment you step out of line and question the Narrative™, you're labeled a traitor or a liar or worse. That's the NPC way.
I don't recall saying his invasion was correct. But if you listen to some of his points, the US has no problem invading countries (Iraq, WMDs) under false pretenses. The US calls out everyone else for actions it does regularly. The US calls out Russia for being corrupt (it certainly is) and then the US is one of the most corrupt countries out there. There is something to the complaint that the Ukraine was not to be a NATO country, until it suddenly was to be.
Yes, because I waited in line at the Russian metro, I'm someone who spreads propaganda. Fuck off, Greg. If I was really that kind of person, I'd make a phone call to your employer.
Top 3 chances of a larger cascading conflict: 1. Cyber attacks 2. Mass civilian losses 3. Skirmishes in the Black Sea
The Rouble is now worth less than 1 cent ……. time for Piezoe to tell Soros to fucking buy out the whole of Russia..
The Ruble is also worth the same! What a coincidence. And that - as I said last week - is how you go after Putin.
Yes, you are a Russia lover. Putin opens by talking about all the wrong we have done and destabilizing actions but fails to mention all of the blood and lies on his hands. Sure, we got some things wrong and we have to live with Iraq but we got a lot and I mean A LOT right too. Go ask Poland, Latvia and the other former satellite states of the USSR if they would trade freedom for Russian oppression. And Putin is right, we are out to get him but we going to get him by spreading freedom and democracy. Where are these treaties that said NATO will not expand “one inch”? Oh it’s an off the cuff remark from 30 years ago. Everyday we live with Russian aggression of cyber attacks and propping up terrorist states, putting bounties on American soldiers heads. Now Ukraine has chosen freedom and democracy for no other reason than they see their other former Soviet bloc states doing well now that they are free of Russian oppression. So this is a threat to Putin? Freedom and happiness? Can’t let the Ukrainians choose their own way in the world because Russia is a kleptocracy ruled by an authoritarian. No. With the exception of our failures and faults this speech is all lies. It’s case for Russian imperialism. Ukraine would be the stepping stone west. Notice he talks nothing about freedom and choice by lies about nazis and fraudulent elections. He talks about pretext as if the very speech he is giving isn’t a false pretext to invade a sovereign country. The whole thing is meant to stir up nationalism. It’s rambling of a man whom the world has gone by. A champion of the glory days instead of a competitor in the modern arena.
I'm a Russian lover because I post the guy's speech? I'm not supporting his actions. I'm just posting the speech.
