The currency is artificially propped up and the current rate is meaningless. You can only buy it but selling it is near impossible. Russian CB is also spending reserves to prop it up. If selling was permitted, it would drop fast and hard. Replacing EU pipelines with China will take at minimum 3 years. During that time there's nothing to do with all this gas supply but sell it with a large discount as LNG to China and India. The amount will be a drop in the bucket compared to what they supplied to EU though. I don't agree with the Iran sanctions but they were effective, very much so.
Depends on what you define as average. Chinese brains have been leaving the US in troves. All because of better opportunities back in China. IP theft or not, if life was so much better in the US, nobody would choose to go back to China. If you mean with average people Rwanda, Nepal, Philippines, or Senegal then you are probably right.
What are you talking about. the currency exchange rate is free floating and freely convertible between Russia and China, and Russia and India. In fact Russia is demanding to get paid in Ruble these days. I understand your sentiment towards the Russian leadership. But what I find disappointing is that you are seemingly impacted in keeping a clear level head regarding economic shifts and developments and that you are seemingly clouted by your emotions towards Putin. I get it but it does not impact the fact that the Russian ruble is extremely healthy and the economy is nowhere near any collapse at all. Edit: Deutsche Bank in Germany provides large EUR/RUB facilities every single day for German corporates that do business with Russia, especially resource based corporates. They all pay market rates, nothing here is inflated or manipulated.
BRICS is for countries trading with each other without sanctioning any member, unlike the US and EU 'diots.
China is famous to build things in just a few days/ weeks. Who knows, they can build those pipes and NG facilities in just a few months
Russia has more states than the lame USA 85 vs. 50 (or so...) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_subjects_of_Russia
Prospering, man, prospering! China investing big in Russia and also buying much from Russia. Russia & China = A Dream Team & Liberators for all of the US-suppressed countries in the World. ...I hope I don't sound like a commie
Typical Russian, obsessed with superiority and respect but demanding it instead of earning it. Number of states, what's next, number of roads?
You don't sound like one. You are one, living in the past. And I don't mean past glory. Can a brother spare some toilet paper.
