So Russians are rubbing their hands in anticipation of the collapse of Europe? How would this benefit Russia whose own economy is precarious?
do you live in europe? or has direct experience with russians? have you ever been to russia? know russian history? understand how propaganda is used for domestic market vs strategic positioning in geopolitics? the weak europe is something russia would love to see. e.g to make bilateral energy deals, sending individual countries against each other, kill nabucco, take back baltic states, no problems in caucasus etc etc etc... you talk like you fell from the moon...
Certainly some would like all of us to believe that... I mean, how could the world survive if speculators who placed leveraged bets on interest rates and real estate had to take their lumps for their greed? Or if parasitic tit-suckers had to make the choice, "take less or get nothing"?
Wait a little longer. You will find out soon what you have in common. The only significant difference between English and the Greeks is that over there they can grow plenty of food to feed themselves when riots start in Europe and German army again this time uses this as an excuse to invade. If you know history at all, you have something in common with the Greeks. They are the only nation in Europe along with UK that stood against the Germans. Everybody else gave in, especially the friendly France who actually was their Ally. English and Greeks fought together in Greece and Middle East to damage German supply chain and prevent Cairo falling in the hands of blood thirsty Nazis. In retaliation, the Germans burned Greek villages and killed all their inhabitants. There are reports of Germans killing pregnant women, taking the fetus out with a knife and stepping on it with their boots. I am not going to say anything about what the Germans did to Jewish people. My parents lost many dear friends of Jewish decent then. Germans behaved like animals 70 years ago and harmed many people. Do you think this animal instinct has gone away? They are blood thirsty. The biggest mistake of America ever was the re-unification of Germany. They created a beast.
1960? for instance this is 10 days old. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtdM5u2dqGk&feature=player_embedded
We're caught in an exigencies trap. We have to opt for ad hoc solutions rather than long-term solutions because the global infrastructure is committed to a paradigm that hasn't a built-in tolerance for crisis. It's a global free market only when things are going smoothly; when things get rough everything's dumped in the collective lap of governments.
