Oh, there's already Biden Derangement Syndrome (BDS) in circulation. The problem is that the man who it is named for is suffering from it the most!

    Other notable names for it:

    Word Salad Flu
    Confusid-19

While there is no doubt there will be gaffes, I'm pretty sure none of them will include praising and tweeting out white power.

The tweeting will likely be orders of magnitude better, there's no doubt about that. But I don't think the President tweeted about White Power. The only thing I am aware of was a tweet in which he thanked people "in the villages in Florida" and during the video (if memory recalls) someone shouted something about White Power (trolling the President). I chalk this up to a gaffe. Again, unless you have something more substantial I didn't see.

  5. Trump retweeted a video of a supporter shouting 'White Power.'

He knows, Sparky. That's what he's talking about.

He wasn't trolling the president, he repeatedly shouted white power and Trump wrote thank you to the great people of the villages. I have no doubt he didn't watch the video before tweeting it, that's the problem. Did he condemn them after, no, he just took it down 3hrs later. I also have no doubt that he would invite Russia to the G7 despite knowing about the bounties, I'm not saying he did, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was put on his desk and he didn't read it.

Right, OK. But he wasn't supporting them, is my point. It was a gaffe. And because the man is an egotistical lunatic, he can't admit he ever made a mistake.

But he's not a supporter of white power. To say so is disingenuous and just looking to score political points. You and I are beyond that silliness.

No I don't think he believes in white power, I was talking about the magnitude of the gaffes. I do however believe that Trump can't come down too hard on the white power people because they are part of his base as I believe that Joe can't come down too hard on crazy looters and defund the police wingnuts because they are part of his base. Joe by nature is a centrist and I think that is how he will govern once in office even though no doubt he will say some stupid shit. Trump by nature only cares about Trump and that is how he governs.

Agree 100% on all Trump comments.

I am concerned about Joe and whether he is a centrist. I think he used to be a centrist, and my hope is that he returns to that once he is elected. But he hasn't been behaving as a centrist lately. Not since announcing he was running. Part of that is that in order to win the Dem nomination, one needs to portray oneself as "progressive". Centrists don't win the Dem Nomination. If I could be sure he would return to that center, I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. Right now, I'm looking at the protest vote (Libertarian).
