Thanks. Yes, I can read in Russian. Gotta agree with him about uselessness of most public fundamental and technical info out there. There is a very high probability he will not teach anything real these guys, but may be will at least save them from most common mistakes.

Then what does work instead of FA and TA? I use only TA in my trading. Marketmaking? Arbitrage? Any hint?

  4. That is exactly what he teaches, simple TA, and good entry/exit points, some tape and specialist reading..

I did not say what they teach is useless, I said that there is a high probability that it is. Unless, someone really takes their classes and tries to apply what they teach, it is just an assumption.

That being said, all that talk about why they share is just BS. If something really works, you just do not share it. You might collaborate about some aspects of it to improve it, but this is as far as it goes.

If your staff works, you automate it and apply it to as many products as you can, this beats any teaching income by far.

What Rezviakov said about his sharing, that if many people follow him it helps, is another BS. In reality he creates competition for the best tick, since there is such thing is liquidity.

"Traditional" TA that is described everywhere is what does not work. In order to have a decent odds about intra day moves, one needs to understand 3 things right: price action, tape and dom. Dom is the hardest to master since so many games are played on it.

In order to master dom, programming is required to exhibit its patterns in a way that is understandable.

    All of above is IMHOO.

  8. Is Gerchik becoming a guru? Why did he start teaching, selling seminars? Or maybe just capitalizing on his 'fame' and experience? I've seen him in Wall Street Wariers documentatry

  9. Well there a wel known video seminar, lots of traders from Russia and Ukraine trading thru http://www.trade-ua.com/ from offices in Tula, Moscow, St. Petersburg, odessa and others..

I dont think he gives them leverage thru hold brothers, therefore there no req. for series 7 exam..

BTW did u know thinkorswim platform was entirely made in Russia by dev express team?
