Russia Dumps the U.S. Dollar for Euro as Reserve Currency

  1. you are dillusional and paranoid at the same time.

But let logic rule, do you have a logical answer why

    a) it is anti-american to think the reserve currency won't be the USD? (the citizens of the rest of the world are not a bit less patriotic than Americans just because they dont have their own currency to be the main reserve one at this point in time)

    b) why will it always be the USD? Because you think the U.S. will rule until all eternity? You seem to be a guy who puts a lot of belief into empirical results because you seem to have automated most of your trading strategies. Is there any hint in human history that would lend any strength to your argument that a single civilization ruled over the rest throughout the entire history? hmm...

I can't but feel that it is people like you who actually provoke a lot of anti-American resentments. Who made you the rulers over others or who is the judge whether your nation is superior over others? You know, quality of life is measured in many different ways by many different cultures. Maybe a bit more openmindedness would actually enable you to learn more from others?

  3. i dont agree with such blanket statement, even as non American. I merily attempted to break away from the paranoia that some people are spreading. Look at Sept. 11. While this was a tragic event some people made it as if it equated a world war (and it was even "advertised" as such by the then administration), equalled the drop of the atomic bombs on Japan, the holocaust. Sept. 11 was a tragic even and caused a change in thinking but not a whole lot more. However, some inside this awesome and beautiful country started to behave as if it was them against the rest of the world. I find such thoughts very antiquated and a hindering point to cooperation and future development. Thats all.

  4. so what if you agree or not, it doesn't change the fact that most of them are arrogant

The reality is the USA are a melting pot of cultures and ethnies, while the EC is not.
It is thus easier to inculcate the people of the US with a SUPERIORITY mentality vis-a-vis the rest of the world (I wouldn't say DOCTRINE since it would evoke too much souvenir of a certain Adolf).
As long as Americans believe in their common purpose while europeans waste time bickering among themselves, I don't see the situation changing anytime soon.

  6. not only arrogant but extremely ignorant.

in many ways their rudimentary culture and absence of history roots turns them into some sort of new age barbarians akin to those that decimated europe 15 centuries ago, which lead to the so called dark ages.

i hope this doesnt offend any fellow americans that doesnt fit the profile above, but unfortunately the ruling elite falls perfectly under this description.

  7. that doesn't mean anything, that's not a culture, it's insanity, when you randomly mix stuff, you get nothing but sh*t

what common purpose, america is a collection of losers and con artists from around the world, they were incompetent in making a decent living in their own f*king country so they fled to this huge island, what are the chances that they can making something decent out of this place

their arrogance comes from their distance from the rest of the world, and the feeling that because they are distant from them, they are different, and so special

america has come close to a point of complete halt, our future technological advancements are only in our movies

omg...i usually don´t post in political threads but this time I laughed so hard I almost started to cry.
if russia really dumped the USD, the first US nuke would hit moskow next week.

think about this morron sadam, who proudly announced to stop selling his oil in USD but denominate in EUR instead.
being able to print the worlds leading currency is the greates power the US of A has. if the oil price is to high, you just print more USD and just buy it. you give a fuck about inflation. but imagine you have to exchange the crappy dollar for EUR to buy your comodities, you would immediatly loose weight in the ring.

again, if russia really moved away from the USD, this would be the beginning of the next war.
the only thing that I´d wonder about in that case, is the kind of false flag operation the war mongers in the US administration will pull of to justify conquering russia and to give the US - population a new enemy.

(I have to admit, 9/11 was a masterpiece, but the war on terror is officially over...perhaps a new overseas contingecy operation could be named war on vodka )

forgett about it. this blog is plain bullshit:D

P.S.: I´m really looking forward to the replies :D

Every so often, this forum has a weekend of nutcase threads. This seems to be one of those weekends.
