I obviously gave you too much credit. What an anal retentive nit picker. Did you try it yourself? Here, get your stopwatch out: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=243972 First of all, I never left the search page after I opened it. There were 8 posts from threads I never even posted to, and 13 posts from threads I already knew were not acrimonious in the entirety thereof. These were instantly eliminated, there were only four posts left. Two minutes? I opened the search results and starting at the bottom, I eliminated 18 posts. There are only 7 left to figure out. The "Boxter or Z4? " thread, not bothering to look at it, I note that as #1. 6 left. I eliminate the next three posts from the "Carlin Financial Prop Position" thread. Never posted to it. 3 left. The next post is from this thread, I know I made a wisecrack response so that's post #2. 2 left. The next post is from this thread and RS7 prints a lengthy dissertation and mentions my handle several times, so I don't count my response as qualifying. Done. I'd say it took less than 2 minutes.
Yes, it took you less than 2 minutes because you had kept close track of each of Error's posts, and what it was that you responded to. Thank you for confirming my initial claim of your obsessiveness. Like someone who has studied for intensely for a test, they need just a moment to refresh their mind before taking the test. I have no doubt that you had this information of all 25 posts fresh in your mind, due to your obsessive relationship with the person who posts as Error/RS7. Your detailed response just confirms my assertion of your addictive obsessive personality, akin to Rush Limbaugh the addict, and your unhealthy stalking of Error. Most normal folks don't keep such close track of what others post, or even what they say themselves when they respond, as they don't take it too seriously. For an obsessive personality like you, it is on the front burner at all times. Normal folks wouldn't have been able to complete the task in 2 minutes, as they would need to spend more time in remembering what had been posted over the past 25 posts of Error. 2 minutes for you? Sure.....for an addictive personality like you 2 minutes is about right. For normal folks requiring a search like you suggested below....no way it happens in 2 minutes? 1. Click on "Error404" 2. Click on "Search all post for this user." 3. Scan page of last 25 posts. Elapsed time: about 2 minutes Why is it so hard to simply admit you are obsessed with what this guys says? The first step to recovery is admission of a problem. Repeat after me: "I AM POWERLESS OVER THE PERSON WHO POSTS AS ERROR AND RS7 AND MY LIFE HAS BECOME UNMANAGEABLE." See how easy that was?
LOL! Besides your transparent argumentative method of spouting "facts" that have absolutely no foundation, how hard could it be to simply remember not having posted to a thread? Would that be too difficult for you?
I see you reworked you comments. Do you routinely and obsessively read your own posts, correcting errors and reworking them? That would be a trait of an obsessive compulsive personality. In answer to your condescending question, no it would not be difficult remembering if I had posted to a thread or not....if that post was a truly meaningfully and important experience in my life. Since posting is not all that important, I probably wouldn't remember necessarily if I did or I didn't, especially if it took place some time ago. Ask people what they had for dinner or lunch a week ago, and most can't remember....yet they need to eat to live. Apparently what you post or don't post, and to which threads you post to holds a a very important place in your life.....further cementing in my charges of your obsession and addictive nature of your posting about the person who goes by the handle of RS7 or Error. In addition, you are free to attempt to counter any "facts" that you believe have no foundation that I might "spout." Heck, you could even post a transcript of comments I might make in the past or in the future, and I wouldn't care in the least if you did post the entire transcript or suggest that you simply provide a "link."
So right at the moment you read this sentence for the first time, you have no idea whether or not you have posted to the thread titled: "Compare my ES performance to a futures benchmark or cash?" The transparency in your debating "technique" is obvious as it is wanting. You spout self spun "facts" that are in error that fit the false premise that you are attempting to propagate.
