There are several ways to look at Trump’s statement that he was going to build a wall and Mexico was going to pay for it. The most obvious is the savings gained from a renegotiated trade deal with Mexico would eventually pay for the wall. While Trump did not say this explicitly, at least that I heard, did he really need to?
Sorry but IMO that wasn't funny but not that I don't appreciate so-called "black" humor. Especially against fringe groups on either end of the political spectrum.
If tRump got his judges to go his way instead of ummm following the law, and they illegally overturned the election about now Mexico would start paying for the wall ....... and sending construction crews of their own to speed things up.
It's funny in context as yer driving along and all of a sudden it pops up. It's years-old humor that I guess doesn't work today. Back then? Hysterical.
Could be but I was never a fan of AM radio loud mouths - which also covers Howard Stern back in the day before he moved to FM and then Sirius. Well other than I Man - Imus. Then once FM, cassette players and CD's came along music was a constant in all my vehicles. Every once in a while WFAN. Otherwise everything else was just static. Limbomb even bombed when he went to TV for a year or two. Stern lasted a little longer I believe.
Stern lasted a little longer for sure. He's had 3 five-year contracts with Sirius, consecutively, at $200,000,000 per year each. So 1.5 billion over 15 years is the best figure I can reckon, for making us laugh.
Believe me, if Trump had thought of it he would have freely launched that lie too. So when Trump told you he was so rich he would pay for his own campaign, did you believe him? Or better yet, if he had said he would contribute is entire salary, as President, to the Government, and then his "spokes person" had gone on to say which agencies of the government would be so blessed, would you have believed him?
