He was an entertainer. His allure was based on truthiness and alternate facts. He had a gift for making nonsense sound plausible. He was clever and inventive. And I suppose to the gullible he did pose a danger. He may have been the first to make a living from Truthiness before it was called truthiness.
Oh, I definitely have Leftist tendencies, as in social Libertarianism. As far as fiscal beliefs, I am dead center. I am more than just negative on Rush Limbaugh, yet I love America, not a massive Liberal, and support Trump. There was no excuse for Limbaugh to lie. He had plenty of material to work with as it was. He unnecessarily offended others, helping create a toxic, retaliatory political environment that has continued to deteriorate over the years to the low levels we see today.
Yeah, ok, only the gullible found him dangerous. Officer Sicknick sends his regards. I hear Goebbels was a swell dude too.
This statement is fabricated from whole cloth and a person who believes this is misguided at best. (and oh yes it's false as well)
Have you considered that his lack of logic and content together with the absurdity of his made-for-the-moment lies might outweigh his balls? I have never found much wisdom in the braying of a JACKASS. When the check for "The Wall" arrives from Mexico, however, I might reconsider.
I am sure Stern will be talking about this news all day tomorrow on his show. Bye Rush, thanks for the occasional laff. Sorry guys, but that above is funny.
