I’ve watched/Listened to about 2, maybe 3 hours worth of Rush Limbaugh over 3 shows in my life at the behest of two friends whose judgements I respect. I found Limbaugh used statistics misleadingly to support one of his points in the first show I watched. When I mentioned this to my friends, they just poo poo’d it. Even my normally very analytical, truth seeking scientist friend. It was like Limbaugh had established himself as above reproach with my friends. Perhaps sort of like how I see Trump. I am willing to accept Trump’s faults because he is the only one with balls enough to challenge Leftist propaganda and policy, which is currently most dangerous threat facing our country right now. I have reviewed several hundred comments on Rush Limbaugh’s death. The comments were overwhelmingly negative. Even more noteworthy, was the few positive comments were only a sentence long, while many of the negative comments were impassioned essays decrying Limbaugh’s shows. While comments, both positive and negative towards Limbaugh almost universally recognized him as smart and funny, I have to ask “At what level”. Limbaugh was married 4 times, had no kids, was very obese, and spread lies and negativity to a national audience for decades. In other words, Limbaugh was a “Pioneering political news entertainer” paving the way for others to follow in his footsteps to “Hark the virtues” of Conservatism or Liberalism. The problem is, too many people are taking these political news entertainers seriously, even to the point of listeners exchanging blows with the other side. Perhaps with Rush’s passing, character and content will start to return to popular political shows. May all gaslighting political shows will soon rest in peace.
I don't love Trump-----I love America. -Anyone who is negative towards Rush Limbaugh is a Leftist------and a massive one at that.
