  1. Of course he is a social conservative. He grabs tits and ass with wild abandon. He has probably grabbed a lot of cock too.

  5. OxyContin is no joke. I have a family member that took it for chronic pain and became addicted. I personally think that it has to be worse than heroin.

I'm no fan of Rush, but I hope he's able to kick his addiction... and it's going to take more than 30 days. One thing that always bugs me is that he, like almost everyone else, made it sound so easy. Watch what happens... getting past this won't be easy. It never is.

  6. This explains all the ill conceived and inaccurate statements he has made: Rush has been doped up for years and has not been able to think clearly.

Let's raise our glasses. Here's to Rush emerging from his cloud of opiate influenced demagoguery in 30 days with a new life - as a Liberal.:D

  8. Since I generally shy away from Politcal comments, and at least think of myself as Independent and moderate (thus the Political moniker of "progressive capitalist"), this may sound a bit odd.

This World has gone topsy-turvy, and I am having trouble figuring out which political pundit to agree with, when they all are blowing each other's "smoke."

    1. Rush apologizes (Good thing), Rush goes to Rehab (Wish him all the best). "Could have gone to Rehab "before" getting himself caught in ringer, but nonetheless a good thing.

    2. Democrat Colmes (Hannity and Colmes) defends Rush and says his show will gain many listeners, "come back stronger than ever."

    3. Arnold is a portrayed by Dem's as a "groper"....come on Guys, what ever happened to "those in glass houses"? Gray Davis' group was desperate, started sounding like Rush did about Clinton.

    4. "For the War?" "Support the War?" Who in the Hell is "for" the war? Helping people in Iraq is great, supporting the troops is a must, but Demo's debating, trying to walk a thin line between supporting war, and demanding we get out of Irag is just hilarious. (Gotta have the candidates on Saturday Night Live!).

The economy is still in the toilet, we "need" $87 billion added to the deficit by the administration, France is Laura Bush's friend again, CEO's head for Jail, Grasso bails out, Mutual Funds are "Front Running" their own customers, Accounting Firms are run out of town on a Rail.....nearly zero interest rates, Unemployment is still very high.......
and......and.....and.....the Market is at yearly highs in what is historically the worst time of the year. Yaaaggghhh!!!

I say let the pundits fight it out with Don King, and we traders will continue to make the best out of, what will hopefully be, a highly liquid marketplace.

(Hmmm, might read this on the air today)......

    Don

  9. My problem isn't with Rush's drug use, but rather how hypocritical the man truly is.

"There's nothing good about drug use, We know it. It destroys individuals. It destroys families. Drug use destroys societies. Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. And the laws are good because we know what happens to people in societies and neighborhoods which become consumed by them. And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up."

    Rush Limbaugh 1995

"If(Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders) wants to legalize drugs, send the people who want to do drugs to London and Zurich, and let's be rid of them.

    -- Rush Limbaugh show, Dec 9, 1993

"By legalizing drugs, all you're going to do is define further deviancy downward. We have a duty to pass on values to our descendants, values that will maintain the standards of behavior and ensure the survivability of the American way of life. And drugs are no different. You end up destroying more than yourself."

-- Rush Limbaugh Playboy interview, December 1993

"What this says to me is that too many whites are getting away with drug use. Too many whites are getting away with drug sales. Too many whites are getting away with trafficking in this stuff. The answer to this disparity is not to start letting people out of jail because we're not putting others in jail who are breaking the law. The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them and send them up the river, too."

    -- Rush Limbaugh show, Oct. 5, 1995
