Speaking of testimony under Oath... Lindsey Graham admits under oath that Trump’s outlandish election conspiracies were farfetched Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) testified under oath and admitted how farfetched former President Donald Trump's voter fraud claims really were. In fact, the Republican lawmaker likened Trump's outlandish conspiracy theories to aliens coming down and stealing the former president's ballots. During a recent interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, multiple jurors spoke out under the condition of anonymity as they weighed in with details about Graham's testimony. "[Graham] said that during that time, if somebody had told Trump that aliens came down and stole Trump ballots, that Trump would've believed it," one juror told the news outlet. Another juror also expressed concern about how they did not appear to be taken seriously as a collective group of jurors. "I just felt like we, as a group, were portrayed as not serious," one of the jurors also said. "That really bothered me because that's not how I felt. I took it very seriously. I showed up, did what I was supposed to do, did not do what I was asked not to do, you know?" One juror even offered a more blatant reaction to the case saying, "I can honestly give a damn of whoever goes to jail, you know, like personally. I care more about there being more respect in the system for the work that people do to make sure elections are free and fair." Another juror also said, "I tell my wife if every person in America knew every single word of information we knew, this country would not be divided as it is right now."
Now FOX producers are turning on the network... and backing everything Dominion has asserted. The entire legal and financial situation is looking worse and worse for the network. Fox News producer files explosive lawsuits against the network, alleging she was coerced into providing misleading Dominion testimony https://www.cnn.com/2023/03/21/media/fox-news-producer-lawsuit/index.html
Coming soon... The Trial. Tick Tock Fox. $1.6B Dominion suit against Fox News could go to trial next month: report https://www.rawstory.com/1-6b-dominion-suit-against-fox-news-could-go-to-trail-next-month/ A $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed by an electronic voting hardware and software company against Fox News will go to trial next month unless a judge issues a summary judgement in the case, CBS News reports. Dominion Voting Systems filed the 2021 lawsuit against Fox News and its parent company Fox Corporation alleging the right-wing news outlet made false claims over the 2020 election and provided guests a platform from which they could propagate falsehoods and defamatory statements. Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric M. Davis was expected to issue a ruling on requests for a summary judgement after a hearing scheduled for Tuesday, the report said. Dominion and Fox News each made separate summary judgment requests. Should the case go to trial, Dominion will be required to prove that Fox News acted with “actual malice,” meaning it will have to demonstrate that the cable network knowingly made false claims or acted with reckless disregard in spreading unfounded fraud allegations. Attorneys representing Fox argue that the case doesn’t meet that standard, since it was merely reporting the allegations of a sitting president and his legal team which had news value. Dominion’s attorneys allege Fox dropped the ball by failing to characterize the allegations they knew to be false as such. "Media companies may always report the truth, including reporting on false allegations while explaining that the allegations are false, and Dominion did not sue the many media companies that did just that in 2020," Dominion’s attorneys said.
here is where FOX's arguyment falls apart for me because there are numerous clips where FOX was not reporting trump's claims but actively reporting the election was stolen repeatedly. You can show claims by trump and then simply not comment or even discuss the veracity of them with what is going on but FOX's talking heads had the message on repeat and repeat and that is an affirmative act to repeat something that they participated in rather than reported.....
The statements from Abby Grossberg are not going to help Fox News in their legal situation with Dominion. It's one thing to coach your witnesses for a trial, it's another thing to pressure & intimidate them to lie. Fired Fox News producer alleges 'intimidating' pressure to deliver 'fraudulent' testimony https://www.rawstory.com/fox-news-dominion-lawsuit-2659659206/ Former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg, who was fired by the network last week after she filed an explosive lawsuit against it, has offering new details about Fox News lawyers' efforts to coach her testimony in the Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit. NBC News reports that Grossberg's latest legal filing alleges she was subjected to "coercive and intimidating" pressure to deliver testimony that would be beneficial to the network in its legal fight against Dominion. Among other things, Grossberg says that lawyers drafted her opening statement and wouldn't even let her review it before submitting it to the record, even though she requested to see it on six separate occasions. She also alleges that Fox News' lawyers pressured her to repeatedly say she did not recall certain facts that she actually could recall, thus "fraudulently inducing her to deny facts she knew to exist." “I felt that I had to do everything possible to avoid becoming the ‘star witness’ for Dominion or else I would be seriously jeopardizing my career at Fox News and would be subjected to worse terms and conditions of employment than male employees as I understood it," she said. A Fox News spokesperson denied Grossberg's claims and defended the network's decision to fire her. "Like most organizations, Fox News Media’s attorneys engage in privileged communications with our employees as necessary to provide legal advice," they said. "Last week, our attorneys advised Ms. Grossberg that, while she was free to file whatever legal claims she wished, she was in possession of our privileged information and was not authorized to disclose it publicly. We were clear that if she violated our instructions, Fox would take appropriate action including termination. Ms. Grossberg ignored these communications and chose to file her complaint without taking any steps to protect those portions containing Fox’s privileged information. We will continue to vigorously defend Fox against Ms. Grossberg’s unmeritorious legal claims, which are riddled with false allegations against Fox and our employees."
It's quite amusing when Fox News attempts to claim that Abby Grossberg provides no details in her filings. Her filings are quite detailed including gems like this - 'In her new filing, she says a male producer watched a video of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., doing CrossFit exercises and called her a “eunuch.”' https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/po...medium=website&utm_content=link&ICID=ref_fark
