Running stops

  1. I was considering running stops on my own (drop a large order into a thinly trader futures market after hours, such as platinum, palladium, etc). The idea would be to run stops, classic style. Has anyone tried this? Think I'd get my ass handed to me?

  2. a thinly trader future means less participants, less stops to hit, less return, more risk.

  3. True.....but you can also get a larger move which theoretically could be more likely to hit wide stops. I guess the reason I won't do it is the fact that every time will be different and even if it works 10 times there's no way to know if it will work again.....

  4. Hey! Do lumber!

I bet that thinly traded dog would shit a brick upside down with some volume. hehe

But seriously, let us know how it goes.
