  1. The May chart says nothing about ScottD... are you saying he's still working with your "cash cow" and he had something to do with that?

Because his last post on ET was in March and he said it wasn't consistently profitable.

Maybe you should start a quant forum to ask basic questions about indicators because you don't seem to understand them. I hate to break it to you Jack but stochastics isn't a leading indicator.

I see the Stoch 5, 2,3 fast line (blue for me) go up through 50%. It is a leading indicator of price and it tells me one thing only. Sentiment has shifted from Distribution to Accumulation.

  2. lets say a person gave two things to roughtrader:

    1. enough capital to trade 20 contracts, and

    2. Scott's ATS.

Dawn breaks on 06MAY09 and rough is hooked to his execution platform.

Flash forward to the end of the day.

We know that roughtrader lost money and made money during the day.

He did have a net for the day.

It is a product of three numbers less costs.

    1. Net points.

    2. Value of a point in ES

    3. 20 contracts.

    4. Cost of trading say 10,000 dollars.

It looks like he made a profit of about 700 dollars or a little more; I may be off by a factor of 10.

  3. You are correct that the May chart does not say anything overtly specific about Scott or cash cow or me or any team member or any coding except for the one unsmudged signal (ZRL).

In March scott said it wasn't consistently profitable.

You are breaking it to me that the Stochastic, in your mind, is not a leading indicator. I am breaking it to you that you cannot use stochastics to make money with your mind.

Luckily we do not use your mind nor its contents.

Instead we use an inconsistent ATS that has a level of performance that is iteratively refinable.

I calculated that on 06MAY09 at an expensive IB it made a few bucks trading 20 contracts.

  4. You still haven't answered my questions about ScottD. Is he still working with your "cash cow" and did he make that May chart? Simple questions.

Here's another. Do you still think stochastics is a leading indicator?

  5. We need a fair impartial judge like bwolinski the ace of Fidelity or marketsurfer the ace of Wall St. or Babak the ace of blogs or Nitro the ace of Chicago programming or Thunderdog the ace of dogs.

Can we use the cash cow which uses three statd indicators and volume and NOT price to make money trading any fractal in any market anywhere in the world given market liquidity?

Is this a cash cow or it it a cash dog. Votes count; this is a demogoggery.

  6. Yes, Yes and Yes. Actually, I work under Scott. The ATS makes the charts. It just happens.

    Its like your backtesting.

You do 24,000 trades that average a loss of 18 bucks and you think you have a statistically significant result. You do not but you think you proved something by doing something incorrectly.

  7. Then why hasn't he posted since March when his last post said it wasn't consistently profitable? I'd think he would be singing your praises.

  8. I think my IB costs were a little high; I better get a Mandelbrot print and photoshop it to get the numbers straight.

  9. Ha ha! And you think that you saying they were done incorrectly makes it so. We've seen how detached from reality your posts are.

But on that topic... you can use that as an excuse with the unknowing and the naive but you can't blame me for things I had nothing to do with.

For example, what happened to your promise to your former IBD group to turn $10 thousand into $1 million in 100 days and post updates on ET? Why didn't that happen?

  10. Again, why hasn't ScottD posted since March when his last post said cash cow wasn't consistently profitable? I'd think he would be singing your praises.
