Your pivoting and I'm not letting you. How do those US wars you cited support your argument that these Russian sanctions will make America less attractive of a place for foreigners? Also, can you please explain the Sudan, Panama, Yemen, and Japan examples you cited above. I am not aware of US led wars in any of those countries.
Pls do your homework yourself. Even wiki should suffice. Nobody is pivoting. I made one and the same point, never changed topic. Americas hypocrisy how it justifies its past illegitimate incursions and invasions but screams when Russia does exactly the same is causing a loss of trust in America as a fair and trustworthy partner and place to invest or park funds. So next time another project like Nordstream against American opposition is put up should perhaps even Europeans fear that they will be vilified and their assets frozen in the US? European's Google and Apple accounts locked. Bank transfers blocked? The American often times hyper emotional and bitter responses are worrying, not Putin's calculated and long ago announced moves and motives. Invading multiple nations, wasting trillions, waging 20 year wars, still crying each sep 11 because 3000 people died? What about the hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians the US military has annihilated in response? Or the Afghans that risked their lives to support the US in Afghanistan when the US military just curled up their tails and left overnight because it was beaten and lost another of the many wars it engaged in but ultimately had to retreat from? Those are worrisome, highly emotional, irrational, and disproportionate moves that should have everyone worried. It's just that America controls the media and narratives. And there are 330 million people who eat anything they are fed, literally and figuratively.
"SHELL SAYS IT WILL BUY OIL FROM RUSSIA AT LOWER PRICE AND WILL PUT PROFITS INTO HUMANITARIAN AID TO UKRAINE" Just crossed the wires. Picture this hypocrisy. Unbelievable. Nike stops selling sneakers in Russia and through the backdoor Shell and probably other UK and US resource corps buy cheaper oil, barrels that were officially just taken off the market and made crude spike to 116. Hey, consumers, do you hear this? And anyone wants to still argue there is any coherent Western response and policy? Why are we in Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and others still blindly following the atrocious path of UK's and US's agenda?
Your original point was that these sanctions will make people question whether they should invest in the US in the future. How do your examples above prove your point?
I made a point not proved my point. And I used many examples to support my point. You are of a different opinion, apparently, and that's ok
you haven’t explained how the sanctions will disincentivize foreign investment in the US. Russians and others invest in the US because it’s the freest country in the world. It still is. as far as destroying the Russian economy and hurting its citizens. That’s how war works. Personally I believe what’s the point of trident submarines if we don’t use them - missiles (non-nuclear) should be raining down on Moscow like artillery shells on an old nuclear power plant.
Funny delusions. By the way how do you define "free"? Free as in any kleptocrat, embezzling criminal, and drug money making its way into a market and getting laundered and re-invested? Or crypto lunacy getting pushed to the unassuming useful idiots in society? No, places like Miami, LA, KC, NYC would only make the 2nd or lower places, London beats them all.
