https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/rowdy-chicago-trading-pits-face-risky-reopen-extinction-threat-1.1441691 interesting article 1) anyone executing 24 legged spreads? 2) anyone hear of RVAssets? what exactly do they do?
1. ) condors or strips out of packs and bundles. Eurodollar packs already have four legs 2. ) "RVassets is a London based FinTech that focuses on algorithms for the pricing & execution of listed options"
This thread and that article are hilarious. The floor is way past dead and the CME would DEARLY love to be rid of it. And Duffy is being generous - the volume done on the floor is miniscule as compared to the screens. It's expensive, it's inefficient, and the customers have wised up a long time ago. Unless you can make a market in some rather complex options combos and spreads I do not see how you could cover your seat lease much less make any money at it.
