Roubine says QE3 coming by year end!

    I always wonder why the Treasury does so little. They are partly responsible for the level of aggregate demand too. But they are never held to account for anything.

  2. I have a few questions:

    1) Can QE3 moves the US stock markets up for the next many months to come, just like QE2 did? Because the market is up today due to anticipation of QE3

    I must point out that QE2 seems to bring core PCE back up from the Dec. 2010 low.

    as such, would you be buying say energy, basic material, tech. sectors etc. due to QE3?

    On the other hand, when QE1 was engaged, the US market continues to fall, nothing changes.

    2) Can QE3 repair or improves the US economy? Or is it just a short-term "fake" fix to boost up the stock market?

    3) When QE2 is announce, Bernanke said it's to prevent deflation, now core PCE is 1.552%, and oil is up at $88.89, if he engages QE3, won't oil be thru the roof, just like QE2 moves oil from $74 to $115?
