But the stupidity of the average voter (who is the de-facto king (tyrant) of every democracy) cannot ever be overthrown without a cultural revolution. Our problem is not financial or political, it is a cultural one. What we really need is a cultural revolution in which we evovle a culture that values thrift, family values, free/fair enterprise, and a form of spirituality that is based on Reality (rather than myth) and based on service to others. Alex Jones does a good job at pointing out problems but he's not offering any solutions. Not even electing Ron Paul would accomplish anything IMO cause the liberal culture that affects the world so entrenched that it could easily outlast a 1-2 term Ron Paul administration. Besides any one man can easily be killed, but you can't kill a culture - that lives on for hundreds of years. And the culture of diehard conservatives is equally disturbing (Taliban, Islamic extremism, Aboriginal peoples). There is no need to reinvent the wheel, Buddha already laid out the Path that is our only hope - The Middle Way. But most people are too naive to follow it. So we will have to await the next Savior, Holy Man, or Enlightened person so sell the same old ancient wisdom but packaged in a modern context that people can understand.
