Hello The_Krakenite, You are correct buddy. There is no way in hell anyone making serious money trading, will waste anytime teaching. It is just not happening.
%% Sounds right @ first glance; but he must have a poor library. These comments do apply to get rich quick so i may have accidently proved \ part of his points.....................................
Federal Trade Commission Cracks Down on Warrior Trading For Misleading Consumers With False Investment Promises Investing Company and its Owner Will Pay $3 Million in FTC Case “Warrior Trading is paying a heavy price for misleading consumers with bogus money-making claims,” said Samuel Levine, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. “The FTC will continue its crackdown on false earnings claims and phony opportunities.” The dream is dead.
Thank you for updating the thread lwlee, But people wonder why day trading is so hard. Yes, cause you have so many damn Liars and thieves out here.
I'd like to say bye-bye warrior trading... after being busted. But, after RagingBulls got outed earlier, seems they left their site still behind (with changes) to try to... pretend nothing really bad happened out of it. Let's see what... *caugh Warrior Trading does next.
https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/2023198WarriorTradingComplaint_0.pdf 28. From January 2018 through March 2021 Defendants spent more than $12.8 million on advertising Wew.
1. What is serious money? How much? 2. I think the issue is really more so of the students are not there. People want an easy fix. They want the book with secret sauce, the utube vid tat gives the magic formula. Nobody wants to work, reflect, have pain, grow. They only want the easy answer and are unwilling to change themselves. 3. Success get ridiculed, especially if done outside normal envelopes/standards. 4. Instant gratification it is not. 5. I think people often predetermine what investment vehicle or methods they will use and fail to consider everything available. I have worked, saved, invested. I've busted my ass to get where I am. Nobody asks questions, gives a damn, or listens to me. Even if there is a five minute conversation that hints at the truth, nobody cares. It is not for lack of teachers, it is for lack of qualified earnest willing students. Those falling prey to self publishers are really getting what they want through piss poor goal setting and method evaluation.
Sounds like Warrior will have no problem paying the 3mm fine. Throwing the a-hole in the penitentiary for about a year would do a better job of getting his attention I think. I hope some of the other so-called trading Gurus on youtube take notice,Teo Raynor,Ricky Guiterez,Sykes,etc... they're next.
Did the gov't actually try to verify Cameron's trading results? Because if he had the verifiable trading records to back his results, then the gov't couldn't bring a case against him, right? Daytrading is a hard game and just because say, Tiger Woods, can't make you into a pro golfer, he can say you will get better if he teaches you for thousands of dollars. You can't sue Tiger for teaching cuz he's a legit golf pro. I ask this, because I really like to know exactly how he did his trading. Simulator? Would like to know what his actual trading results were over the last few years. Gov't must have dug into his records to bring this case. Update: interesting tidbit in the complaint. Cameron actually tracks his suckers ,err, students. 82. Warrior Trading keeps track of how its customers perform in the simulator it provides. While the simulator data might not entirely represent customers’ actual performance in the market, it indicates that customers do not make money day-trading. For example, simulator Case 3:22-cv-30048 Document 1 Filed 04/19/22 Page 23 of 29 24 data from November 2020 through March 2021 shows that 74% of the accounts lost money, and only 10% earned more than $90.
IIRC, in the lawsuit vs Ragingbulls, there was a subpoena to get the 'legit' trading records from their broker(s). BUSTED!! And when I say busted, that's an understatement. These guys couldn't even get LUCKY in the markets to make a buck. All money they made was from over-priced subscriptions to very gullible suckers. The type that were looking for someone to sell them a bridge at a discount. As a sidenote, multiple mentors already had existing criminal records, including some big time fraud/theft stuff. Kinda takes one to know one ehh?
