    I was hoping someone might enlighten me to the different role an IB plays compared to an FCM?

    Also, I hear there are different types of IB's?

I highly suggest you swing by Barnes and Noble and browse through "Starting Out in Futures" or a similar book. It takes more than a line or two to really understand it.     How are futures trading hours handled with most brokers?

    Since they trade 24 hours (minus the 1/2 hour break), what hours do most brokers offer trading in these. (ES and NQ specifically).

    Can you get customer support during these hours?
