Cut his teeth for what? The guy is 76 years old, i doubt he even has any teeth left, he will be in his mid 80's if he spends time in a cabinet level position for 8 years. Which means that he would be president into his 90's if he won the presidency at that point. :D

In this country, in this party we don't nominate 9/11 terrorist apologists. That seems to offend the America-haters like you.

Do you think the liberals currently running the country can do better? They've had 3-years including having a super-majority at one point and what did they do?

They created another gargantuan unfunded entitlement and spent trillions of borrowed money.

So we'll try the conservative way. We won't eat shit, we'll eat your lunch. If a few libtards flip-out along the way that'll be a bonus. Texas Governors seem to drive the libs crazy.

Just between the two of us I think you're wrapped too tight for P&R. Just an observation. :)

Hate America? I love America. Libertard? I'm a Libertarian. Which is far more conservative than mainline republican hypocrites who'd happily spend this country into the ground than cut a monstrous federal deficit they only loathe in principle. Ron Paul is not a terrorist apologist. Far from it. He's a truth teller. Neocons can't swallow the fact their glorious military adventures fomented hatred in the countries they've bombed out for decades. Piling up dead Iraqis is a noble cause, after all...

As far as eat shit, trust me, you will. All this crap going on in Europe and America will not go away. I've explained this before, but the finer points are evidently above the pay-grade of most here. Ron Paul is the only voice of sanity in an insane world. Rick Perry is about as phony as they come, which explains why ET's lumanaries are jizzing their pants over the notion of his Presidency.

As far as me being livid, yea, I am. Most of the retards here have no idea what's coming down the pipeline. Every 4 years, this country gets raped by the same two teams, and you morons can't figure out they're both on the same side: Big Government, Higher Taxes, More Spending, Higher Debt, More War, Less Freedom. Every mainline candidate is a hardcore, Authoritarian. That's why shit never changes. But the idiots refuse to wake up! So the market will do it for us. And when it does, a lot of people will get raped. It'll be fun tho, watching society fall apart. Fun like watching a maggot-filled wound pulsate with fat, bloated larvae boroughing themselves into raw flesh.

Our only incursion in the ME before 9/11 was the rescue of Kuwait. That took about a month.

What glorious military adventures are you referring to?

Would you have preferred to leave Kuwait occupied by Iraq?

Ron Paul's argument doesn't hold up. He thinks if we just hide in the corner the badguys will leave us alone. Its laughable and he deserved to be booed.

  5. Hi there. You left out a few things like our unconditional support for Israel, our backing of Sadaam Hussein against Iran, the coup we engineered in Iran in 1953, backing up dictators like Hosni Mubarek in Egypt...so we've been a bit more involved in Middle Eastern affairs then you indicate, and for quite a while.

Also, Iraq accused Kuwait of slant drilling (stealing) some 300000 barrels of oil. Kuwait laughed off the accusation and that's why Iraq attacked.

As a former active duty Marine who spent time in the Middle East (Iraq, Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, et al) I can tell you that, without a doubt, our foreign policy creates terrorists. Every time we blow up the wrong person with a smart bomb, every time one of our drones destroys a wedding in some rural village, scores of terrorists are created. Try and imagine what you would do if the Zimbabwe air force accidentally blew up your family...you might want to pick up a weapon and take aim the next time you saw their military....just saying.

As a footnote, if you support our troops, then support Ron Paul. Because our troops overwhelmingly support him above all other candidates. In fact, the troops donated more money to Ron Paul then to all the other republican candidates combined.

I see what you are saying.
We should abandon the region to the Islamofacists and allow a second holocaust or (more likely) a nuclear response from Israel to an attack on them.

Once the jews are gone who will the Islamists blame for their failure?

  9. Here's the way I see it. Israel is more than capable of taking care of itself. I've trained with their military and they are absolutely first rate professional soldiers. They have basically the same military equipment we have, putting them light years ahead of any of their potential adversaries. Let's also remember, they are a nuclear power.

I am not worried about Iran because Iran has never invaded another country. Further, there is no credible evidence Iran is trying to build a bomb (although if I were in their shoes, I'd want one...think about it, they are practically surrounded by nuclear ICBM's). Egypt is a bit dicey now as far as Israel is concerned but I think recognizing Palestinian statehood would go a long way to settling things down. If Israel recognizes Palestine and ends the apartheid like conditions they have imposed on the Palestinians, it would go a very long way towards re-legitimizing Israel (as far as their Muslim counterparts are concerned).

The alternative is to continue doing what they are doing, and further enrage their neighbors.

Either way, it is an area of the world that has been in conflict for eons and nothing we do there will make things any better. Our troops do not belong there. If Israel gets invaded, they are our ally and we should probably respond. Anything short of that means we need to stay out. Remember, these little excursions wind up costing US taxpayers trillions of dollars and as I'm sure you've noticed, we're kinda broke.

Ah yes, but we'll be hiding in North America where nothing bad can reach us. Besides, everyone will love Americans and all will be rainbow happy sunshine goodness, with unicorns.
