I'm glad to hear from you that Muslims are committing no acts of terrorism against Israel.

I live in the United States. And I can see that terrorists are much less a threat to me than the burgeoning police state coming out of Washington, D.C. The terrorists aren't groping people at the airports, our government is.

    I see.

And what are your views regarding 9/11?

My views on 9/11 are that Ron Paul is right. We were not attacked because we a a free, prosperous country. We were attacked because we've been in the face of Middle Eastern Muslims for years and they don't like it.

So, the terrorists had every right to attack us? Hmm.

I think its delusional to believe that extreme isolationism would work. Woodrow Wilson sort of proved that already.

What is clear is that Ron Paul is being shunned by the republicans and the media for harboring that idea. Doesn't seem like he has any real chance. I've read that he doesn't expect to be nominated either but is more interested in promoting a few of his ideas. Most rational people would never consider voting for him.

Liberals seem to think it is important to be "liked" internationally. I believe that represents a fundamental misunderstanding of Islam. They will seek our destruction no matter what we do, the Quran makes it clear and so does a recent poll of UK muslims in which 30% of them said that violence in the pursuit of religious world dominance is acceptable.

You don't seem subject to logic. As I pointed out, nobody has attacked Israel on the scale of 9/11 and they are in more-or-less constant conflict with muslims.

I guess I'm saying you are stupid and misguided. It is a good thing that folks like you don't represent the majority views held in our country or we would be in even worse shape. I suppose you'll have your chance to cast a vote for Ron Paul in the primary. That is a wasted vote imo.

The republican candidate will be either Romney or Perry. I can't bring myself to vote for a northeast yankee so I'll vote in the general for Perry or stay home if its Romney.

They were justified in being angry at us. Neither I nor Ron Paul believe that their grievances justified the scale and type of attack they carried out on us, although the neocons will always claim otherwise. Both Ron Paul and I agree that we were justified in going after Al Qaeda after 9/11, but not in launching a war on Iraq or maintaining a 10 year occupation of Afghanistan.

What you and other blood thirsty war mongers call "isolationism" is what normal countries do. India does not maintain military bases all around the world. Neither does Brazil or Argentina. I suppose they are all "isolationist" too. I wish *we* were as "isolationist".

You could certainly emigrate to an isolationist country. If your beliefs and convictions were serious you would do just that.

Instead you stay put in our "blood-thirsty" country. Why?

I suspect you enjoy the benefits that American security affords you while you gripe about the means by which it is obtained.

    Hypocrisy.

I have to admit that I'm executing a plan that will make me an ex-patriot by early 2013, perhaps earlier. I've seen enough and am doing a "John Galt" presuming a couple of things break in my direction. My beliefs and convictions are serious and I act on them.

    Why don't you?

  8. No one is justified in attacking innocents...for any reason...ever. I think what the CIA, Ron Paul, and other experts on the implications of American foreign policy are saying is that it's a case of cause and effect. It does not excuse the actions of the terrorists, it simply highlights the reasoning...and therein lies the distinction.

Also, mark my words today, if Rick Perry wins the nomination, it will guarantee an Obama victory.

They would rather lose the election that have Ron Paul. Obama has proven himself quite the neo-con also, for a democrat. The real issue is DC is scared of a Ron Paul presidency, imo. Today, the gap between the people and gov't in the US is wider than ever, and getting worse by the day.

Benefits of American security?!! Ha ha ha! So you act on your beliefs? I hope you are a member of the armed forces currently serving in a war zone. Otherwise you are a chicken hawk hypocrite.

I do act on my beliefs. I support Ron Paul so that we can have peace and Constitutional government. BTW, Ron Paul gets more donations from current members of the military than do all the other Republican Presidential candidates combined. He also gets more donations than Obama. The guys who are stuck fighting the forever wars know a real patriot when they see one.
