Ron Paul: I don't fully endorse Romney In an interview with the New York Times, Ron Paul details the ask from GOP officials in return for a convention speaking slot, and explains why he declined. Mr. Paul, in an interview, said convention planners had offered him an opportunity to speak under two conditions: that he deliver remarks vetted by the Romney campaign, and that he give a full-fledged endorsement of Mr. Romney. He declined. âIt wouldnât be my speech,â Mr. Paul said. âThat would undo everything Iâve done in the last 30 years. I donât fully endorse him for president.â
Of course he doesn't fully endorse Romney, nobody in the GOP does. It's the old - that's all we got- syndrome. One almost would have to feel sorry for Romney, since he is the most little regarded candidate in decades, maybe forever. But, the anti- intellectual ABO crowd won't care I guess.
I think my thread proves that a certain group's support of "o" literally consists of anti-intellectuals.
