Running for president as a progressive he got the most votes ever.

Governing as a centrist he has a net - 15% approval rating and is heading to a one term presidency with a legacy of one of the worst presidents of all times.

He promised to work with Republicans. That's running in the center.

He promised police reform, criminal justice reform, increased taxes on the rich, forgive 10,000 of student loan debt, medicare option for all, climate regulations, voting rights, fracking ban,end for profit jails, free community college, double pell grants, end cash bail, decriminalize marijuana, more assault weapon ban,15 an hour minimum wage, paid family leave, lower drug prices, universal preschool, pathway to citizenship for illegals, etc.

A progressive agenda like that got him the most votes ever.
