"Within minutes of tapping Paul Ryan as his vice presidential nominee, presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney was distancing himself from the congressman's controversial budget, which includes steep cuts to government programs and changing Medicare into a voucher-like program.

"The Romney campaign sent out talking points on Saturday that made the case that he was his own man on matters of Medicare and Social Security and that he wouldn't be tied to a document he insisted he'd sign into law and once called "marvelous."'

Other countries also have cities, counties, states and provinces, property, gasoline, safety net programs, and "all the other" together.

It really is a shame, Romney is probably the most successful presidential candidate in 5 decades, Ryan is a numbers guy who is actually presenting big ideas no matter how unpopular they are, and they are going to lose to a bumbling drunk, and an unqualified community organiser who probably cant even balance his own cheque book, because they will get demagogued to death, from here on out the whole election is going to be about tax returns, and Paul Ryan throwing granny off a cliff.......

Demagoguery is not necessary to the task, a straightforward cost/benefit analysis will suffice.

You must be incredibly proud, with all the problems facing america, your hero's entire campaign is based on character a assassination, because he cant run on his own failed record.

Odumbo has had 3 1/2 years. So when is this straightforward cost/benefit analysis going to start?

  8. Actually Palin was more qualified imo.She was a mayor and Governor and made a living in the private sector before politics.Palin actually has a record of fiscal responsibility

Ryan has never held a leadership position, was never Governor or Senator,no foreign policy experience etc .The only jobs he has held that paid a living wage was from his family and the government.Ryan talks fiscal responsibility but voted for expanded unfunded medicare,an unfunded war and tarp etc

But it was Eight or Mav88 who just pointed out that Americans don't like numbers, this election will be more about feelings. Could be true.

Wait a second i want to get this straight, so Ryan is voting to expand medicare?

As an unabashed Obama fanboy it really takes some nerve for you to question someones credentials obama is the most unqualified president in history, and it is showing, the guy hadnt even run an icecream stand before being voted into president.....
