Romney being Bush does not hurt Romney as much as Obama is hurt by Obama being Bush for the past 3 years.
From reading what others re post from IQ-47 and brASS, it seems they just make up what they want. There is no basis in fact for their statements. Rarely does IQ-47 provide a source for his claims and NEVER does brASS provide a source. Two liberal loons not worth the effort to debate.
Brass is just an irrelevant one liner. AK does provide sources, and he has a foundation for his beliefs. The issue that I have with him is that he simply takes an example from the past and goes with the belief that it is a perfect source for prediction of future results. He ignores a whole host of variables that might influence a new result. Just a + b = c, and that's it. He never considers (or is incapable of considering, perhaps) that there are other factors that can influence the output.
Good point. Basically, Obama has taken W's poor economic choices, and ran with them. Where does he really differ from Bush? I can't understand what anyone feels he has accomplished so far (haha), that warrant another 4 years. If he did absolutely nothing we would all be better off.
This has turned into a discussion about polling science. Ak, The Obama guy supports a polling method which polling science says is not an accurate way to predict election results. I am arguing it is a waste of time to look at polls which use such a method. This is not about who is winning right now... at least not to me. I do agree the race appears close. But, I suspect it is really not. Speculation section... http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/05/02/is-obama-more-popular-than-he-should-be/ In the above poll the author tries to explain how the economy could suck so bad and Obama still poll well. I sense his hypothesis is off. Here is mine... I suspect there is 5 to 10 percent of the people who will tell the poll people they like Obama because they wish to avoid being seen as racist... but there is no way they will vote for 4 more years of this economy.
Romney makes huge jump in the polls http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/gallup-poll-romney-favorable-rating-jumps-183950373.html
Quinnipiac University Poll - Romney Up 6 Points In Florida May 23, 2012 Gov. Mitt Romney holds a 47 - 41 percent lead over President Barack Obama in Florida, where 63 percent of voters say the president's support of same-sex marriage will not affect their vote, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Another 25 - 11 percent of voters, including 23 - 9 percent among independent voters, say Obama's support of gay marriage makes them less likely to support his candidacy. http://www.quinnipiac.edu/institute...stitute/florida/release-detail?ReleaseID=1752
