Romney Looks Like the Next Pres

  1. I support the abolition of the Fed. I am truly an independent and would have reservations about voting for him. It's moot, so I can say I am a supporter as I have nothing to lose in doing so. The mind boggles at the dearth of suitable choices on either side.

I agree with 70-75% of Ron Paul's platform and voted for him in my state primary.
Even though it was already obvious he had little chance of the nomination.
I voted my principles, convictions and what I thought best for our future.

  3. Could you vote for him were you pro-choice?

  4. I agree with most of Ron Paul's positions as well.. but since he realistically has no shot I will support and vote for Romney. Romney is much closer to Ron Paul on the political spectrum than obama. Yes he is a politician and flip-flops etc, but obama is literally the opposite of ron paul, and he is about as trustworthy as brass.

It is what it is. Seeing as how it will be between Obama and Romney, which of the two would you rather have win? It's no secret I'd rather that Obama wins, if for no other reason than because Romney promises at least four more Bush years. Admittedly, I think Obama could have done better thus far, but consider the amount of resistance he encountered at every single turn. Against that background I think he's the clear choice between the two.

    Ron Paul?

I'm of the opinion the federal government has little if any business being involved with abortion. And while I'm personally inclined to consider abortion "wrong" I'm also a pragmatist. The world is already grossly over populated.

In addition I don't consider the abortion issue all that particularly important.
Worrying about that NOW is like running into a burning house to grab an old lamp shade and leaving your wallet sitting on the same desk the lamp is on.

  7. OK, then the issue is somewhere in the 25% of the platform you don't support. Strange analogy, but ok.

Infinitely preferable to four more Obama years.

But then you're a Canadian so few if any give a shit what you think on the matter anyway.

Repeating bullshit over and over again does not make it true. Try this test and see for yourself: Spread some shit on a slice of bread and keep repeating "peanut butter" over and over again. Then fold the bread, eat the sandwich and see if it tastes like peanut butter.

  10. more great insight from the internets most ancient troll. You mean all that resistance he encountered when he had control of the House, Senate and obviously the WH? btw, one should expect massive resistance when they are wrong about everything.
