from slate... Welcome, my friends, to the Great Unskewing! Thanks to Facebook and Twitter, we're going to get more anecdotes about voting lines, poll watchers, and broken machines than we've ever had before. I'm about to check out some of the key polling places in Columbus, so I'll be part of the anecdote problem. But at this late hour, I wonder what we can still learn from data. Dave Wasserman, the brainy House race editor at the Cook Political Report, has produced a spreadsheet that might worry Democrats. Using the data from Ohio's boards of elections, paying no attention to the shifting "party ID" numbers, he collated total early votes in every county. Overall, counties that voted for both Barack Obama and John Kerry saw a 4.1 percent drop-off in early votes. Counties that voted for Bush and John McCain saw a 14.4 percent rise. ...http://www.slate.com/articles/news_...s_early_voter_turnout_worry_barack_obama.html
cmon this is a softball... dems do well in early voting... republicans crush the turnout on election day.
A few days ago you made a thread suggesting republicans were winning early voting http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=252489&perpage=6&pagenumber=1 You said my posts stating that democrats were winning early voting was dated
i was asking whose info was correct in that thread? but so what... it would have been great if Romney outperformed historical trends. every pundit on t.v. and in america knows that historically dems did well with early voting and Republicans on election day.
Note... a person called ex goper has started 5 or 6 threads about voter fraud. this is just the beginning of the dems b.s. machine starting up. They know they are toast. I just hope Romeny wins by margins which will make law suits useless.
Actually, if he wins by a tiny majority and gets elected, it'll be all the more hilarious to hear them whine about it for four years.
Could this be the Obama Campaign telling people to spam political forums with their tripe? Could be an organized effort.
