Candy Crowley: Romney Was Actually "Right In The Main" On Libya CANDY CROWLEY, debate moderator, after the debate: You know, again, I heard the president's speech at the time. I sort of reread a lot of stuff about Libya because I knew we'd probably get a Libya question, so I kind of wanted to be up on it. So we knew that the president had said, you know, 'these acts of terror won't stand,' or whatever the whole quote was. I think actually, you know, because right after that, I did turn to Romney and said you were totally correct but they spent two weeks telling us that this was about a tape and that there was this riot outside of the Benghazi consulate, which there wasn't. So he was right in the main, I just think that he picked the wrong word.
Crowely is full of crap trying to cover her ass. She is just a duche bag and should be fired by CNN for being affiliated with them and dragging their name through the mud with her. Many are calling this the worst job by a presidential debate moderator they have ever seen.
UPDATE: On Wednesday, Crowley responded to conservative critics who said she "backtracked" on her Libya fact check. During an interview with Soledad O'Brien, Crowley firmly stated that she did not backtrack on her fact check: ...We got hung up on this, âYes, he said. No, I didnât. I said terror. You didnât say terror.â And then there was this point they both kind of looked at me...And what I wanted to move this along...So I said, âHe did say acts of terror, called it an act of terror. But Governor Romney, you are perfectly right that it took weeks for them to get past the tape.
They are losing credibility, they have changed their methodology in the last 1-2 months National polls don't matter at this point, its all about the EC.
So those polls that have Romney ahead we are suppose to dismiss and only accept those that show Obama in the lead, is that the spin I'm hearin?
He cited the same polls when they favored his man. I think we are pretty well screwed either way but Romney is certainly looking like he has a good chance.
