Just approving the Keystone Pipeline and stopping the EPA's attack on coal and coal fired power plants will be enough for starters to get things rolling. Then there is the big drag ObamaCare is putting on business and that has to go, too.
Pew Research.... Romney Plus 4. A 12 point swing with likely voters.. Romneyâs Strong Debate Performance Erases Obamaâs Lead http://www.people-press.org/files/legacy-pdf/10-8-12 Political Release.pdf
Incumbent has big lead before first debate, challenger wins first debate and polls get close, incumbent gos on to win.Seen this story before. Its good to see the righties all excited again, makes election night better for the Dems
good luck with that argument... its not even specious. You are asking us to draw conclusions about a debate crushing of that proportion from a sample size of 2 which included incumbent George Bush. And the post debate polls now have Romney in the lead if you average them. That debate and performance was the polar opposite of Bush v Gore. This was a sitting President who had been very competent in previous debates having his policies eviscerated by the most competent candidate for President we have had in two generations. do not forget... this is the first race where there were snap polls which have created a virtuous cycle of reinforcing the winner of the debate with the independents and undecided. Its now cool to vote against Obama because everyone knows Romney was more Presidential.
Obama needed this. This race looking like an Obama landslide were making Dems lazy and less likely to vote. Now that it seems close they know they need to get their asses out there and vote. Many dems think Obama loss the first debate on purpose for this very reason.
