did you see the thread which shows Demcrats have lost half a million voters in Ohio... and massive losses in other swing states. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3640210#post3640210 Dems will be luck if the turnout goes to 2010... as I have been saying more Rs will show up than Ds.
romney is winning right now..he is leading with independents... there are going to be far fewer dems than there were in 2008. romney is winning with independents... and the dems have lost a lot of voters... here is another find by pspr In 2008, Barack Obama carried Independents in Ohio by 8 points and in Florida by 7 points. That victory among Independents contributed a great deal to his 2.8-point win in Florida and his 4.5 point win in Ohio. A victory by Romney among Independents could tilt both key states in his favor. Curiously, Independents seem to be mostly ignored this election cycle, and their presidential vote preference is almost unanimously ignored by the MSM. Instead, âwomenâ have replaced Independents as the key demographic. This emphasis and sudden fascination conveniently ties in nicely with the Democratsâ fictitious âWar on Womenâ meme. In both Ohio and Florida, Barack Obamaâs âclear leadsâ all come from heavy over-sampling of Democrats, not from winning the crucial Indie vote. In fact, most of the polls that show Obama with big leads also show Romney handily winning Independent voters. Yet, somehow, Obama manages to increase his performance from 2008 despite Independents now opposing him. Let's take a look at how Romney is competing among Independents in recent polls: Ohio â Leads Among Independents Ohio Newspaper Organization â Romney +28 CBS/NYT/Quinnipiac â Romney +1 American Research Group â Romney +16 Fox News â Romney +4 We Ask America â Romney +3 Public Policy Polling â Romney +2 Florida - Leads Among Independents CBS/NYT/Quinnipiac â Romney +3 Gravis Marketing â Romney +4 We Ask America â Romney +2 American Research Group â Romney +1 Florida Times Union â Romney +4 Fox News â Obama +2 Remember, these are states Obama won by small margins in 2008, primarily by winning Independents by 7 and 8 points. If Barack Obama were winning with Independents in every poll, itâs clear the media would be talking about it just as they did, to the point of annoyance, four years ago. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journa...s-Media-Ignores
Okay. But, tell me, what is one thing you think Romney would do that would hurt the country? I think he would continue to favor the rich too much.
Increase defense spending even though we already spend almost as much as every other country combined. His foreign policy will be aggressive, his team is mostly from Bushs foreign policy team Of course he would continue to favor the rich and with inequity where its at that is not a good thing
I agree I am also concerned that Romney might choose a vigiilant stance with respect to our embassy and americans overseas. I am very concerned he might support an americans first amendment rights... and then who knows the jihadists overseas might actually respect or fear us. Also I could imagine Ryan getting on T.V. blaming videos for our foreign policy problems and obama for our economic woes. I would hate to see that... I much prefer a buck stops here kind of guy like we have now.
