You understand that polls are fluid dont you?

Jimmy Carter was beating Regan up until a couple months before election, how did that work out for him?

The job of a poll is not to predict the end result, its to predict how people would vote if given the choice on the date of the poll, otherwise all they are doing is guessing...... McCain was leading at that point in the 08 election.....

On the plus side for you, Obama is going to get a 2-3 point bump because of the Olympics over the next couple weeks, especially if someone like Phelps comes in and cleans house.... Same thing Happened for Stephen Harper during the winter Olympics in Canada....

USA Today poll has Romney over Obama on the economy, more than 2 to 1.

Since we're obsessed with the latest polls and all.

LOL, im not really because nothing has changed in the last 2 months, but Jem and AK have managed to keep the "Dueling Banjos" going for 250 pages, this is going to be a LONG thread by the time the actual election hits, and there will be lots of ammunition for either side based on previously posted polls come november... :D

at 58 million a month burn rate... and a monthly take lower than Romneys, I guarantee the campaign is stressed.

Remember Obama was to crush opponents with his billion dollar campaign. The national media was hyping that for a long time.

Obama was a fund raising machine. he had social networking. He had big money contributors.

    Oops.

  6. Yes,not arguing that. When MOST polls consistently has 1 candidate winning and 1 poll (Rasmussen )consistently has the other guy winning that says something is wrong with the 1 poll that has the other guy winning imo

It helps to have the taxpayer foot many of the bills. You know, flying all around on Air Force One while campaigning, etc.

So then Scrap Rasmussen, but then you must admit Obama +6 is currently a sham, and what you are left with is a statistical tie.....

I pointed out to you... huffington post even stated that as we get closer to election those other polls switch to polling likely voters.

so if the question is should you believe the polls which use the most accurate method... the answer is yes.

your polls with the wacky leads are using wacky methods.
