I would put obama's number a little lower.. but that is a great analysis... that is the type of analysis that you would want running a business or a country in debt.

    Bravo...

Its not that he does not care about them, its that he knows he should not devote a great deal of resources to trying to get them to vote for him.

  8. You hit it on the nose AK47.

Romney's analysis is faulty because he will get votes from an enormous percentage of poor white folks who (were it not for government services and welfare, would be 6 feet under) will simply not vote democratic or across racial lines.

Whoever he is identifying as the 47%, he openly disavowed any possibility of
their changing their circumstances, ever, and that if he is President, they are not a constituency to him or a group he could influence for the better. If this man is not the most politically tone deaf Presidential candidate, please tell me who was? Ross Perot with his "You people" comment?

If the Yippies ran a pig again it might give Mitt a run for his money. Mitt is the Anti Hope candidate for the down and out.

This tape will cause some of those in his camp to re-think their commitment to Romney. Many Republicans who want entitlement reform don't have such a callous disregard for a broad swath of the population and I think will be troubled by the attitudes the underlay his message. Entitlement reform is an issue of economics, not ideology and disdain. Mitt veers toward the latter .

  9. He's not after their vote, but he could give a rat's ass about them.

I'll bet you that most of the rabid anti Obama posters on this thread are net beneficiaries from the federal and state treasuries.
