I don't know why I even bother trying to explain it to you. There should be no benefits because there is plenty of food, clothing and shelter for everybody as long as I can fish and hunt and harverst the land. But when you have a piece of paper that says the earths resources are controlled by you, and I am prohibited from using that land, then you owe me something. We can settle this your way or the old fashioned way. Like the man said, "Land belongs to whoever can steal it."
