Hello all, I'm looking to move from spread betting the IG versions of index futures to the real thing, as I think I'm outgrowing the bucket shops. I've been trading very short term, but would also like to start opening some longer-term positions. Can someone please explain how one goes about rolling over from one contract to the next, and what the costs are typically? I've been doing some searching on tinternet but am still a little unsure. Thanks for any help.
