This is not true, because in the womb, there is no person. We can call it "life", but it is not life that NEEDS to be protected! A blatant disregard for life would be for me to just kill someone who is walking around. Or stepping on an injured bird, or stepping on a snail. THAT is blatant disregard for life. But if I smack a mosquito or tick on my arm to kill the LEECH that is feeding on me, or getting rid of the fetus that is feeding off my body, because I do not want it there, it not a blatant disregard for life.
