Die? Every single US state allows an abortion if it threatens the life of the mother prior to or during labor. Get real.
Because it's life. Have you slept through basic biology 101? And last I checked it was a HUMAN life...
Sure, a woman in Texas was already arrested this year. No basis whatever eh? Well not before the ruling. Now states will criminalise it as a murder quick sharp. https://www.healthline.com/health-n...regnancy-what-are-your-rights-in-the-hospital A Texas judge has dismissed the murder charge against a woman in Texas who had her pregnancy terminated. The woman was indicted for murder over a self-induced abortion and was arrested last Thursday and detained in Starr County on a $500,000 bond. Sooner than anybody thinks women trying to travel for an abortion will be detained at airports and any other transport hubs in America or when they return home. Like the three SC justices, lying until the trap is sprung is virtue to you.
Obviously I was awake for biology 101 when I typed about the zygote. Do you even know what that is? Sorry, a zygote doesn't have any rights, human life or not. It's a fucking LEECH. Can you remember when you were a zygote, or even a fetus? No, you cannot. Nobody alive today can. That means that someone down the street cannot demand that I as a woman MUST HAVE the baby because THEY said so. Sorry, that's not how society should work.
So the hard stick is whether you remember something or not. By that benchmark we should strip you off most human rights because you are very forgetful these days, old man. And how society should work is up to everyone's imagination and opinion. You have yours, I have mine, and we have a binding supreme court decision. Guess the higher powers have decided for us and tossed this wrongful decision out for good.
It is not that simple, obviously. When you are in the womb, you do not have a life. You are not forming life experiences. You do not even have a personality yet. You are not a "person". Once you are outside the womb, you are on your own and are developing life experiences. Some have argued that sperm-meeting-egg is the point of becoming a "human life". Some have argued that hell, let's pull it back even further and claim that every man who masturbates is killing millions of unborn babies. Let's take it a step further. Every woman who menstruates is killing a baby, every single month, by not allowing the egg to be fertilized. So should menstruation by women, and masturbation by men, be outlawed? We gotta' draw the line somewhere. How about we draw it at the point a consciousness can determine their own place in the universe through introspection? This whole road is covered in broken glass, and we're all getting bloody feet trying to walk upon it. There is no simple solution, but a line must be drawn at a reasonable point. I think the second trimester was a good line. Now that is gone.
Bla bla bla, like we believe you are a woman anyway. Will you be my friend? I'm nearly 300 pounds myself.
