He may prove to be shit too. You could have plugged in any other QB in the NFL to the 49ers roster this year and had the same success. In fact, I would say the quarterback position is the weakest on their team.

Look at how good a running game made Ryan Tannehill. So far all we know about Jimmy G is he throws a mean lob pass and loves flirting with sideline reporters.

Are we including the 3 fumbles and two interceptions?

Racking up yards in garbage time when you have no chance of winning and the other team is in prevent is not impressive.

The bottom line is this Rodgers was talking shit about how he was going to make SF pay.

  7. First of all he is 36 so at the downside of his career.

He has a Super Bowl ring and 2 MVP awards....

What does SF QBs have over the same time period. those who use the one game to say SF was better not drafting him do not know football. To be fair, GB had better QB coaches and Rodgers got to train under Favre for 3 years first, in SF he would have been on a shitty team.

Aaron Rodgers has faced San Fran three times in the playoffs and he lost all three. Maybe he ought to stick to selling insurance.

Mr. Armchair QB at it again. Regardless of his performance yesterday, he'll be going into the HOF. You ever play a sport, at any level, champ?

He is a smart guy, a Hall of Fame caliber QB, holds crap loads of records, but the reality is the last two years he hasn't looked the same as all those glory years. Maybe he comes back and puts it together more on than off next year, and the defense fills a couple glaring holes, and I believe the pieces are in place to go to the Superbowl next year.
As a lifelong Packer fan, from Lombardi through 25 years of nightmare to Favre and Rogers, I hope he comes back strong next year. If no other reason than the old management team, i.e. Ted Thompson, never thought to bring in a viable backup/ heir to Rogers. This unlike having Rogers ready when the Favre era ended. Rogers probably is playing at his age because he wasn't thrown into the fire for a few years and was able to watch and absorb, which he is very good at.
