Rochdale's Bove cuts Suntrust, Fifth Third to sell

Rochdale Securities analyst Richard Bove Monday downgraded to "sell" from "neutral" SunTrust Banks Inc and Fifth Third Bancorp , saying the two banks may not be able to show a profit until 2011, Reuters reported. "I think that 2010 is going to be a tough year for the industry and that these stocks do not have built in to their prices this potential or the likelihood that Congress will pass punitive legislation," Bove wrote to clients. He also downgraded to "neutral" from "buy" the securities of U.S. Bancorp.
