Unfortunately there are still billions of bombs/mines in the world still waiting to be disposed.
Quite a few were dropped onto Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Korea.... by the US.
Egypt also has billions of landmines waiting to kill someone.

So far, those robots only dispose < 0.0001% of unwanted bombs/mines.

Perhaps China will come up with innovative idea to dispose those things.

problem is they don’t know where the mines are.

the most number of mines is between north and South Korea but the US knows where those mines are.

if you know where these a mine, you can dispose of it pretty easy I think.

  6. I've been watching lotsa YT vids on this.
    It's kinda scary to me.

I also find it curious that they are so dimensionally like humans.
    Acceptance, I guess.

  7. Good Morning Sprout,

My water hose will easily put any robot near me down for good.

Any time someone comes up with new device to wound or kill, others are inventing ways to turn them off or destroy. Drones can drop like a rock with electromagnetic pulses, radio frequencies, Anti-Drone Jammers, Hacking the Drone Software.

As far as robots, one shot will most likely stop them from walking.

USA companies makes new weapons and others find ways to destroy weapons.

Everything comes down to cost to get rid of mines, hardly anyone does dangerous jobs for free. Normal cost to get rid of one landmine is $500 to $1000.

USA sells the most land mines, most cost under $100 a unit.

  9. I so agree. I talk about the 90s so much with my family. I definitely feel recent technology (last 20 years) has done more harm than good. It's so out of control I feel and I don't see any way it will stop sadly. People overall are not happier for the advances of the last 20 years and I think it will just get worse. I find it quite sad.

none sense. one can always find a fishing village in africa to lay low, probably no electricity and only 2g cell service.

tell you what, try to live in upper part of maine away from i-95 for few months and see if you are depressed.
