I'm surprised Elton John didn't step out of that bus. Any cheap looking silver or stainless steel vehicle from this company should have an Amazon Basics badge slapped on it.
Security guards and monitors????? That will be the work of ai robots, yes nothing but robots monitoring robots!! Simple as that. With the hype of where AI is leading up to and literally hundreds of billions and trillions being pumped into wallstreet there is no way humans will be monitoring robo taxis.
Must claims people will own many robots doing all our tasks in his lifetime and that at 20 to 30k a pop everyone will own one. Haaaa. Not happening anytime soon!
No it would be robots making sure us idiot humans do not attack robots who took away our jobs driving the taxis so essentially it would be robots monitoring us humans, not robots. Robots are fine. It's us humans who are going to be the problem.
I already own two robotic cleaners that vacuum and mop my floors. I also have a robotic pool cleaner that cleans my pool. If the technology had developed better, I would've owned a robotic window cleaner and robotic lawn mower. And I can totally see a cooking robot coming. The cooking robot shouldn't be that hard to make. All you need is the engineering of it. And since cooking makes up about 60-70% of the household tasks, I can totally see everyone willing to pay more to get the robot so they won't have to cook ever again. Imagine someone cooking you fresh meal EVERY DAY for EACH meal with fresh ingredients! Thirty years is a long time and a lot can happen in 30 years with the pace of development that it's going. Musk's claim is not so far-fetched especially when he's at the forefront making it happen.
I'd be hesitant to get into one of those. You're literally putting your life in the hands of somebody's software.
Those robots that mop and vacuum, yes they do the job but not like a human can. It gets it clean but not as detailed as a human can. It's a simple surface cleaner, it doesn't get the nooks and crannies as a human can do and robots cooking, that's a very far away thing from happening anytime soon.....
