  4. Pretty lame post. There are 100s of Robin Hood upstarts ready to take their place tomorrow.
However, as has been mentioned a few times here lately, IB is on limited borrowed time. They will probably be replaced by next year.

robinhood did raise billions the other night. I got the sense it was a short term loan.

I don’t read zerohedge (this is the first time in many years). I think the facts were right but their conclusions are wrong. Robinhood isn’t going under or going to get bought out.

Oh yeah and TDA and IBKR traders are all over it ... after RH rockets shot off weeks before.

You're probably another dumbshit who thinks RH is actually free to use.

Competition for what? US retail gamblers are already mostly locked out of offshore brokers and the US in general is the most permissive about this stuff - China and EU regulators will take any excuse they can to tighten controls. I don't take 'DeFi' seriously as a transformative paradigm shift, though it may survive as a niche area.

Also realize that Wall Street will sell small fish retail clients (and upstarts like RH which cater to them) down the river at the first opportunity if it means lower taxes or less regulation somewhere else. In the era of zero comms and Reddit raids, it's questionable whether small retail accounts are even worth the cost to service. Doubly true if regulators take a magnifying glass to PFOF.

Coming from you that is a compliment as well as acknowledgement you haven't a clue what has taken place. Thank you nonetheless.

And oh BTW C Ya - I will no longer see your posts.
