There is a fairly large percentage of the voting public who will be strongly guided by their perception of celebrity opinion. It's like they are vying for the celebrities' approval. Does all the vulgarity and crude sexual references turn some of them off?
Nothing in 20 years... Think the movie parenthood. Very good at playing italian style mobsters. Seriously overrated compared to actors with range. Nothing compared to Olivier or Day-Lewis, Oldman, Bale, Brando, Hopkins, Bogart even Norton or Spacey, and Freeman. A lefty can keep his career alive hollywood by using his or her celebrity to represent the interests of the cronies. We have seen the pattern over and over. Obviously actor ratings are opinion. Not claiming yours is worse than mind. I just thought I would remind people why lefties seem to go off the rails towards the end of their careers.
Looked at the reader comments on Variety as you suggested. The comments were overwhelmingly anti Deniro as shown from this apparently at least center-Left publication. This may suggest a favorable election outcome in at least 2020, if not sooner, should the economy continue its course and Trump can deliver a reasonable treaty on North Korea.
I love this stupid leftist argument about Trumpy. “You think he gives a shit about you??” Lol. Is that all you got? I hope you pussies all cry yourselves to sleep tonight on your huge pillows.
De Niro apologizes to Canada for "idiotic behavior" of Trump Robert De Niro introduces a performance by Bruce Springsteen at the 72nd annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 10, 2018, in New York. (Photo by Michael Zorn/Invision/AP) TORONTO (AP) — Robert De Niro apologized to Canadians on Monday for the "idiotic behavior of my president" a day after the actor launched an expletive at Donald Trump at the Tony awards. De Niro said Trump's remarks about Canada are a "disgrace" and apologized to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and others who attended the Group of Seven summit of leaders in Canada. Trump called Trudeau "dishonest" and "weak" following the summit on Saturday. Trump advisers also ripped Trudeau, branding him a back-stabber. De Niro made his comments at a groundbreaking for a new restaurant and hotel complex in Toronto. At the Tony awards, De Niro launched an expletive at Trump and pumped his arms for emphasis. Many in the audience stood and cheered, while TV censors quickly bleeped out the offending words. Trudeau has not issued any public remarks about Trump's latest attacks. Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said her nation "does not conduct its diplomacy through ad hominem attacks."
