Robbins World Cup E-mini Contest

  1. If I may, I would like to ask you all to do me a small favor. In the future, if you should see me go off on a posting binge during RTH, as I have done today in this thread, would you kindly tell me to STFU! Please.

I peeked in here a few times while either waiting for confirmed signals, or waiting for trades to execute. In the end it was +8pts ES net, market offered several times that in raw potential but no one catches them all. I didn't even try... was away from the charts more than not today, as usual.

I did learn long ago not to engage in focused conversation here... it is an activity, not to be confused with productivity. What LW did/did not do is totally irrelevant to me. Couldn't care less, never crosses my mind. Only thing that matters is what we do, and the current emini trading contest is just a fun distraction that has nothing, nada, zero, zippo to do with LW. not one iota.

See whoever joins the party on 10/01. Will not tap into this thread again... ran its course many pages ago

Any competition is about pride first then money. Hence the initial capital is irrelevant. Although the most difficult initial capital would have been 1500 with 1k margin forcing all into single contracts that would have set apart men from boys. The easiest is about 35k cap.
I will love to participate just to convince myself where I am in my trading adventure and for that will give up trading much larger cap and put 100% into this contest and I am sure or at least hope that will control abuse of margin and keep it just above 100% will be more than sufficient for my first contest.
BTW, what causes this phenomena of exchanging insults, I understand it is a form of expression but it sure makes the thread boring!

  4. I would recommend you check your email Mr. Goodboy before you make anymore unsubstantiated comments.

  5. Michael Cook is NOT Mark D. Cook. They are two separate people.

  6. there are very valid and practical reasons behind why the above occured in this manner it has. i asked LW directly this question and was satisfied with his answer. if i wasn't i would say it, i have no horse in this race other than defending someone from being maligned in an unfair and fictional manner. why do you avoid asking LW directly what happened and why?? the reason seems to be you just don't like the guy, prefering to believe the hearsay instead of hearing directly from the source. very poor form, mr.dog, very poor form.

  7. Hearsay? You regard NFA findings and an incontrovertible chronology as hearsay?! That's quite a standard of evidence that you adhere to, boyo. Yes, far better is it to ask LW himself to get the unbiased, unvarnished truth.

In a totally unrelated, fictional matter:

Marketsurfer: Mr. Capone, are you a mobster?

Al Capone: No, sonny, I'm not. There's no such thing. It's all hearsay. Now run along.

Marketsurfer: Gee, thanks, Mr. Capone! (Wow! Al Capone just talked to me. Like I was important, or something. What a great guy!)
