OK, as far as I'm concerned both the GM bailout and the proposed Obamcare are big moves in the direction of socialism. But if you want to argue technicalities or semantics do it with someone else.

Politically motivated Cartoon caricatures are unprecedented?

How about global warming fear mongering?
Or the lack of a government run health care system fear mongering?
Or "four more years of Mcsame" fear mongering?

You're up in arms over the other side doing what your side also does.
Only when the other side does it you convince yourself it's somehow worse THIS time, so as to justify your outrage.

  2. You yourself quoted from the article that this is the worse of all the fear mongering that has been done from both sides, so why shouldnt this be pointed out?

So the response to opposition's fear mongering is to raise the level of fear mongering amidst your own base?

Yes I quoted your article. NO, I did not agree with you it was the worst of all time. You merely imagined that. It's a common symptom of minds diseased with liberalism. You arrogantly presume everyone must agree with your view.

Always has been and probably always will be.
If you're really confused by it, you may want to consider another hobby.

  4. So why would you quote a section of the article that clearly says that RNC behavior was unprecedented for its notoriety.

Attacking me personally because you have a weak argument proves what?

And why is the RNC and the conservatives coming out and saying it was wrong and doesn't help their cause unlike you who is justifying it for chlidish reasons.

  5. Not to put words in Lucrum's mouth, I think it is a part of human nature to respond in kind, point- counter-point. That does not mean it is the correct responce for all matters.

However, in general and in the main, it is my opinion that conservatives are a little more self-correcting than our socialist/progressive/communist bretheren. This may be attributable to the corrosive nature of the Marxist doctrine which usually achieves its goal by revolution, whereas, the communists little brother, the socialist, must creep in unawares, like a fox or snake, and slowly subvert the political system at hand, step by step, year by year.

Hence, again in my opinion, a conservative will more readily correct himself/herself or even the party apparatus itself for the sake of truth and improvement, whereas the socialist is not so inclined due to the stealth required by its political agenda and methodology .

  7. A few points, if I may:

    1) Mr. Sharlet, the author of the book and article, readily admits that orthodox christian organizations condemned the "family" once the allegations came to light.

    2) Socialists themselves, openly pervert the message of Christ for their own political purposes, just as the group you mentioned.
Heresy is an equal opportunity employer !

    3) The Obama administration has more than a few (openly) communists and socialists on its staff. If I liken socialists and communists to the KKK , could you imagine the fire storm if a republican president nominated several KKK or ex-KKK members to positions of power ?

The Family is still have lawmakers who go there.
But I know the USA have the CPUSA and SPUSA, but I do not see Obama administration staff who join this partys.
Look at this article if you have time. You can tell me if you think this is propaganda or truth. I know every side have their agenda. And is confusing.

  10. since the apologist for slavery elected obama, he now no longer says the word "Jesus"...noticed that? He immediately promised gays they will be proud of him. He immediately confirmed that we will continue to promote killing of the unborn children. He is a man deserving no respect and getting less and less of it per the polls.
