So what gives? We had about 5 active posters all over this trade giving play by play and suddenly everyone disappeared faster then a Malaysian 777 airliner. Dave, are you still in this? You are a no nonsense type of guy that usually lays it all out there. Just curious if you are still in this.

  2. Wow, I had a look at that @LH chart & reviewing your stated record of 25 wins 1 loss, 2 pushes... Not hard to figure out what your edge is...

Shorting a contracting because it's high or buying 'cause it's low ain't no edge

...Many small wins, few catastrophic losses.

Some unmerited hate there, I don't agree with your observation, I feel it has been the opposite.

    Unfortunately, it's a hateful world.

however possibility of limit up/down days in a row - risk cant be controlled so you have to have smaller size and then why bother with this market. Just 1 limit up day in this case so that is nothing special.

  5. Hi Mav, I thought I made it clear I was out before slinking away for a while.

  6. I am glad you got out that day, but the synthetic was 90-100 above limit the rest of the day.

Do you remember what was the size of the limit bid? Hogs algo is split FIFO/pro-rata with TOP and LMM if I am right. Depending on the number of ( stupid )prints and the size of Rearden order, it is possible he got out. I wasn't in that market so I don't know.

  8. OK, but those prints occurred before his post stating he would be out "no matter what". So I don't really get how this was possible as the synthetic went to 50-100 over lmt shortly after it hit (limit), and then limit up the following day. If he was somehow able, then great.

Yeah I saw that post, I just wasn't sure if you got filled or not.

My back of the napkin math had you short a lot of contracts and I didn't see much fill after your post.
