I got a good trade for you, and today it pretty much got technically confirmed. Short TSLA - Price range from 165 - 180 Trade Type - Short Term- 1 or 2 months only Goal - $140- 150 Range Product - 2 month 150 Put option Stop Point - above 185 This stock is for sure overbought, not to say it cant go to $200 or more,, crazier things have happened... but to me it is a great short up here. Had a capitulation day today. Any bounce from here could be a gift for shorts. keep in mind this is short term only. maybe RM would agree? or not
I could not help but remember this post. Today, on a massive sell-off day, TSLA is the only thing green on my screen.
true...it does still look strong....might even do something irrational and make a new high and then tank...seen that many times before....we will see in the coming weeks. It wouldnt be shocking if it went to $200...but the higher it goes the harder it will fall. Does anyone know the current short position? I know it was high--maybe 19M...wonder if they have been covering this week
While I'm not averse in principle to taking the other side of raging bull stocks, TSLA hasn't yet shown the capitulation I'd like to see in order to take any kind of position against it. I'm flat TSLA. P.S. Current short interest stands at 20.26 mil shares. http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/tsla/short-interest
the other day was a big reversal and closed near the open after having been up over 10 bucks. big sell off....but ya it is prob the strongest stock right now...but that could change. wow 20.26 Million still short!!! that is high...if they get forced to cover then ya it might get pushed to 200+. this stock was 26 bucks less than a year ago...has that much changed to justify this price? Not that it matters...would be a short term trade anyways...maybe this goes to 400 eventually who knows...but a nice pull back should coming soon
TSLA has rapidly opened many new sales centers across the nation, and has been called the 'best car ever' by numerous experts. 25% of test drivers become Tesla customers/owners and the company is already turning a profit with yet more rapid sales growth and manufacturing efficiency/increased profit margins right around the corner. This is one bull I'm not willing to fight. At least not yet, because their growth is simply amazing at this point.
