3. Gold spot= $1363.60.

I'm now 100% out of all metals positions. Thanks a ton to everyone for all the encouragement, and I will talk later because I still have to decide how and if I play the metals long for a bounce at some point....

That was really amazing. Like, uncanny.

And I went in on that blind, just due to the fact that it was RM. Just wish I sized up more. Didn't expect such volatility without some time to assess how to play it.

    Thanks for that man.

  8. I didn't see where RM mentioned how many contracts he had, but after seeing him post here over the years I bet it was a stunning dollar amount too...at least it would be stunning to pikers like me!

  9. Never did get big in this one. Just exited at $2.97 and $3.01. Consider the other month $VIX spreads to be closed out too. There are no longer any open positions from this journal.

That's the one flaw with these public market calls: Once I'm already up a good amount on a position, I have every incentive to just book the win, whether I'm truly ready to exit or not.

One more thing: The support of everyone here has been awesome, and you guys have just bought yourselves more of my strong-conviction market calls going forward. Had the reaction been negativity or silence, I might have been inclined to disappear from ET for a while again.

  10. Yes, life can get pretty complicated when you're the Oskar Schindler of junkies.* There are seven people who comprise my 'inner circle' of relatives and friends. Every single one of those seven can tell you that what I have is truly a problematic solution, not a drug problem. How many bona fide junkies can claim as much? Time to plug my site again: www.ProhibitionKills.com

*Oskar Schindler (of 'Schindler's List' fame) was a card-carrying Nazi with thousands of slave-laborers working in his factory. But to read that book by it's cover alone and label him a 'Nazi slave owner' would be a cruel injustice, since history clearly recognizes him as a stand-up guy who did all he could to do the right thing, under very difficult circumstances.
